Approach

Most downtime is not a fault. It is a fault nobody could diagnose.

We write PLC code to a defined standard — structured, commented, consistently named, with a fault architecture that reports what failed and what to do about it. The difference between a four-minute stop and a forty-minute stop is almost always the quality of the diagnostic message.

Electrical design is produced in EPLAN with full schematics, panel layout, cable schedules and I/O lists that match the delivered panel exactly. Safety circuits are designed to the required performance level and validated by test, with the evidence retained for audit.

Where you are modernising, we work with what is there: legacy controllers, mixed fieldbus, undocumented machines. Reverse engineering an existing station and producing the documentation that never existed is normal work for us.

Questions about industrial automation

Which PLC platforms do you program?

Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500), Rockwell (Studio 5000, CompactLogix and ControlLogix), Beckhoff TwinCAT and Mitsubishi. We match the plant standard rather than imposing ours.

Do you build the control panels or only design them?

Both. We produce the EPLAN design and can either hand it to your preferred panel builder with a complete manufacturing pack, or build, wire and test the panel ourselves before it ships.

Can you document a machine that came with no drawings?

Yes. Reverse engineering undocumented equipment — tracing the I/O, recovering and rewriting the logic, producing as-built schematics — is a service we deliver on its own, often as the first step before a modernisation.

How do you approach OT cyber security?

We follow IEC 62443 principles: network segmentation between control and enterprise zones, no direct internet exposure of controllers, authenticated remote access through a managed gateway, and a documented account and patching policy handed to your IT team.
